Cecilia Lalander is a highly accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in scientific research, environmental protection, and sustainable development. She obtained her master’s degree in chemical engineering with a focus on biotechnology from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm and her Ph.D. with a focus on organic pollutants and waste management at KTH while working as a researcher and consultant at the Swedish Environmental Research Institute (IVL).

Cecilia has since worked in various organizations, including the International Foundation for Science (IFS) and the International Science Program (ISP) at Uppsala University, Sweden. In addition, she founded two organizations, Action10 and Human Rights & Science (HR&S), which focus on empowering equal international partnership in social enterprise, scientific research, and innovation.

As a Board Member, Cecilia brings her extensive experience and expertise in the field of scientific research, sustainable development, and international collaboration to the table. She is committed to promoting the organization’s mission and values and is dedicated to ensuring that the organization achieves its goals and objectives. Her innovative thinking, strategic planning skills, and strong leadership qualities make her an invaluable asset to the Board.
